NIVEDITA 

I am a DPhil (PhD) student at the University of Oxford in the Department of Theoretical Physics, I am also affiliated with the Mathematical Institute and Merton College. 

I completed my undergradute degree (B.Tech) and an integrated Masters degree at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) in India. 

I am broadly interested in Functorial Field Theories and I am supervised by Prof. André Henriques at the Mathematical Institute. 

More specifically, some keywords that I care about are 2D chiral CFTs, conformal nets, higher hilbert spaces and von Neumann algebras, higher dagger structures, (smooth) bordism categories with defects and topological defects as morphisms between QFTs.
