I am a currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics (Fall 2026- Fall 2027).
Starting Fall 2027, I will join as a Postdoctoral Scholar in Mathematics at the Institute for Advanced Study for two years.
I finished my DPhil (PhD) at the University of Oxford in the Department of Theoretical Physics, I was also affiliated with the Mathematical Institute and Merton College. I was supervised by Prof. André Henriques. My thesis is available here.
I completed my undergradute degree (B.Tech) and an integrated Masters degree at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) in India.
My research interests lie mainly at the intersection of Mathematical Physics, Functional Analysis, and Higher Category Theory, more specifically, I am interested in the study of axiomatic approaches to various aspects of Quantum Field Theory, in particular those axiomatisations that are inherently (higher) categorical and functorial. I like spending time thinking about what is a good definition and what makes a good definition a good definition.
